Engrave Live is the events arm of Chicago Award Source, 1627 N. Clybourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60614. This site, engravelive.com, is where you find out about on-site engraving and ask us to scope and quote an event. This page says plainly what we collect from you here and what we do with it.
What we collect
- The booking form — your name, email, event date, what you would like engraved, and anything else you type in the notes.
- Text messages — if you text the events line, we receive your phone number and your message on our phone.
- Live chat — anything you type in the chat, plus a name or email if you give one. Chat runs on Shopify Inbox.
- Email and phone calls — what you send or tell us.
- Visit data — Shopify, which hosts this site, records standard visit information (IP address, browser, pages viewed) and sets the cookies described below.
What we use it for
To reply to you, scope and price your event, and run it if you book. Sometimes to follow up on a quote we sent. That is it. We do not sell or rent your information, and this site has no newsletter or marketing list.
Who else handles it
- Shopify Inc. hosts the site, the booking form and the chat, and processes that data on our behalf under Shopify’s privacy policy.
- Our email and phone carriers carry the messages you send us.
- No one else, unless the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
Shopify sets the cookies needed to run the site and its chat, and its own storefront analytics. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on this site. If that changes we will update this page.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and event records are kept for as long as we need them to quote, deliver and keep our business records, then deleted or anonymised. Ask, and we will delete anything we do not need to keep.
Your choices
Email us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting. If you are somewhere with specific privacy rights — the EU or UK (GDPR), California (CCPA) — those rights apply and we will honour them. This site is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
